Distortion Field

I have mentioned including my artistic side to coding.

Here is the refinement of my process.

My pipeline into creating code. And possibly other endeavors.

There are cycles. A swing to the left. Then a swing to the right. A pendulum. This pendulum swings between artistic drive and freedom, and to refinement through governance via structure. The artistic side reigns freely and alters the code. Causing a distortion in the structural integrity. Leading to new ideas. This is where the village and shaman come in. The narration distorts pure logic. Other artistic ideas and flares lead to more kinds of distortions. Increasing complexity and richness to the process, and the distortion leads on. Propagating and expanding. 

Eventually the weight and burden becomes massive. Causing the pendulum to swing back around. Entering the era of compression. The compression is taking all the artistic thought and finding structure within. Aligning the narrative to the goal. The specification. Bringing it all back. Because the emotional side brought new ideas, and the feeling brought life to the creativity. Increasing a pulse. More vitality. Now we go back to structure and inhabit logic. Rename values and harmonizes ideas. Compacting until the compression is sound.

Once the compression is gone and the structure is renewed, I begin conceptualizing another projection. The global view of my project finds what styles work well. A reflection at every inflection.

Do I refine the current structure and go another round? Or do I clone the structure and split to something new? Adding more layers and players in this software. Potency is important here. Symbols need potency to have greater strength. The road has two direction.

Variety or refinement?

I think git plays well with this workflow. Commits are records. They provide neutral ground. Enabling many kinds of workflows to inhabit one space. I am not breaking from convention too hard here. I can compress my commits and branch out versions. Git is still new for me. I only know the basics. This means studying git will enable my workflow to improve. So add git to my learning regime.

All in due time. One rhythm to guide and many to iterate upon.

Here’s to learning, and the beautiful mountain spring with every turn of perception. Round the turn goes. Cycles to guide. Cycles to deepen oneself. Up to expansion. Straight to refinement. Down to learning.

Details to the Journey

This life has many, many details. Details that can break a iron grip. Firm grips lose focus when the tiny fireflies turn violent red or deadish black, purple. We can walk the road out of our kingdom. Just for a bit. Then return to find corruption layered all over the streets. Life once had assurances that wasted away at the right age. Mountains in the distance shimmers no glint. No haze. No snow. The sun becomes the doom that scorches the earth. Flexing muscles, forcing a grin, we enter the muck. Reaping tools to restore order. To make those beliefs not for naught. Code - What Do You See (Part 1)

Speaking Ones and Zeros Sweaty hands grips the controller. Mashing the ‘A’ and ‘B’ buttons to slash different attacks. The D-Pad is pressed left and then right. This kid is a natural. Well, a 20 something 90s child loyal to the bone to the very franchise he drooled upon as a kid. A 2D graphic tube TV turned 3D with 4k HDR resolution. Let’s not forget Ray Tracing making the reflection oozing with shivering vibrance. Shading now soft and variable. Pretty much every controller is the same now days. There are four main button, side “L” and “R”, Joysticks and a D-Pad. Every game franchise is different. Some have swords, sneaking around with capes or exploring open space.
