Learning Latent Space

New word: Latent Space

I have been into game development for a while. Well I mean I looked into it. Watched a few videos over the years. Here and there.

The last few months I can easily track the progress I have made. My frequency is increasing. It most certainly is. However the most important aspect of coding is the value. What do I feel? Is the work meaningful? Are my efforts rewarding without reaching my goal? And will the reward of coding itself send me closer to my endeavors.

All those questions are yes. They are improving steadily.

Recently I posted about probability. I have digged further. And now I am learning linear algebra truly. I am chatting with AI about probability to get a beginning sense of the field. The AI gives me blips of information that I stitch together along with video resources and soon books as well. So why?

Well. I love spatial computing. I have for a long time. Although I thought spatial computing needed a good VR platform to work with. I finding that is not true. VR, XR or AR are just one expression of the concept. Truly AI is another form of spatial computing. Vectors are used to store concepts and learn, and then compress data. Vectors have become the new binary for me.

Back several years ago, I learned that the magic of computers was simple. Meaning that after grasping and thinking about the concepts I mapped the train from start to finish. Even if there were several carts that were blank. I got the gest and the skeleton of computers. It was enlightening and exciting. Still is exciting for me.

I was on my merry way exploring how to embed concepts into binary. Create those symbols I ramble about. Then recently the probability space I discovered within my own mind-sphere led me to AI. And how I feel a strong attraction to the field. And as I think about it. I just love space period. Space in motion is space worth diving into. So here is time. Combined with time is space and information. AI is one example. Video games another. 3d animation and virtual spaces. Even story books are words for humans that create spatial worlds with information and motion. Amazing.

Incredibly interesting for my senses.

Now that over the last few months my physical health is improving my stamina is sufficient for me to enjoy studying each day. And I dig into math a little at a time. As well as reading about creating programming languages, generating 3d meshes through symbols and array of other topics.

The way my mind works is not linear. I jump so many hoops and ping pong over topics. My strong autistic side is fabulous in stitching structure together. I have accepted that I may be slower when learning, but my speed of thought and endless appetite for learning makes the journey exciting. And over time the meaningful symbols are rich with representation. And I eventually understand.

Today, or while I was writing this post, I was reading an article about latent space. I fill satisfaction knowing and understanding the terminology. I know exactly what they are describing. And I know my ping pong then stitching things together is getting in so many discussions at once. Meaning spheres, domains, fields and structure. I swing through domains cross stitching concepts as one.

I also coded briefly in my Macbook about vectors. I started falling asleep before I completely finished the vector basics because I have extreme insomnia. Coding always relaxes me. And I drift asleep a lot while typing. This is one indication that keeps me going. I enjoy it and all I need to do is remove or evolve obstacles. So the flow can happen deeply. Writing always is enjoyable. Even if I don't blog a lot. I do write in my journal a ton about concepts I am learning. Writing to myself is like enjoying a cup of chamomile tea. Its soothing. And I feel grounded after the ping pong flows out to the page.

One thing I have thought about is virtual machines. As I get more into automation, I know that containers and virtual machines will increasingly be my go to.

Automation is incredible. I feel like a million bucks when my efforts expand greater than my time. The idea that virtual information is symbols making reality better is awesome. Symbols to place meaning. Symbols to frame a world. Symbols to expand reach. Symbols to bring concepts to tired hands. I love building. I love working out my problems. Life is my journey.

Everyone has their eyes, feet and ears. Their senses. Their way of view and perceiving. And the world of code can reach each hands releasing their bands. Opening the way. Enabling and empowering voices. Can technology be evil? Yes. So what? I will focus on good and let it lay claim. Just as easily and more potent may light rest upon our shoulders. Warming our day. Even the chamomile tea.

This is what I am aiming for. Symbols to compress. Then expand. The evils the loss is always true. I will let the way stayed closed. Until light has its sway. For Light is heart's warmth. Light is enlightenment. Evolution. It will open the seal and find the alternative path.
